Site Description The hull of the Hetty Taylor is partially intact and partially buried. The port side and bow are intact along with the forward deck although farther aft the deck is collapsed. The starboard side is mostly buried and the transom is broken off lying on the bottom. Parts of the ship that are extant on site are the rudder, and stern deadwood, many chain plates, roof of the aft cabin, centerboard trunk, anchor windlass, and bow sprit. One of the masts lies on the bottom a distance from the starboard side of the hull. The deck which originally was over the centerboard trunk is now broken lying over along the sides of the trunk.
