Site Description – The wreck is in two sites — the forward 85 ft of the starboard side and the main area which is the bottom of the hull and machinery. The starboard side includes a hawse pipe and a schooner style pair of bitts mounted on the bulwark and a badly degraded portion of the shelf. The main site includes the aft 175 ft of the bottom of the hull to the turn of the bilge, a steeple compound engine broken from the base, the supporting engine machinery including pumps, air pump, condenser, drive arms and shafts, propeller shaft and one fluke of the propeller and a firebox boiler. There is also a large curved section of the iron hull hogging strapping and two small pieces of the sides of the ship.
