Site Description The hull of the Wisconsin is very intact but the upper cabins are gone as is some of the main deck. There is surprisingly little nautical machinery extant on site. Although the engine and boiler are extant they are only visible inside the hull. A capstan and bitts are visible near the bow of the ship. There are two open portside gangways but the aft gangway on the starboard is closed and the starboard side is collapsed near the location of the forward gangway. There is a large hole in the starboard forward side.
