The engine and machinery were salvaged apparently with the stern of the ship. The only machinery visible on site is the drum of the windlass. Some of the hull strapping is visible along with a section of the embedded hogging arch. According to the Indiana DNR site plan there is another section of the side of the hull about a hundred and twenty feet from the wreckage covered by the model.
