Site Description The Havana is your typical splayed out wooden hull with just the hull bottom and sides extant on the site. The starboard side lies at about 45 degrees to the bottom of the hull and was mostly buried this year but the hanging knees were still visible. The port side lies with the outer hull upwards and visible. The centerboard trunk is in place and  partially gone exposing the top of the centerboard. The turn of the bilge is mostly visible this year on the bottom of the hull although the inner area is buried. There is a fair amount of iron ore still extant on the bottom of the hull. The wreckage is sparsely covered with mussels and a heavy layer of algae.
