Site Description The vessel is very intact although the small unloading boom is broken but extant on the site. The aft port side and port side of the stern are broken and many broken pieces of machinery and piping are scattered around the stern. The vessel is often call a barge but it was propelled by two propellers, rudders and engines which are extant on site. The vessel was built with a low profile to allow it to go under the river bridges without needing them to lift and the low profile aft cabins are gone or disarticulated on site. The winches that powered the unloading system and boom  are extant on site as well as a forward winch below the forward deck. The unloading system tunnel is visible through the hatches.
