Site Description Although the hull is splayed out there is a surprising amount of the ship extant on such a shallow site. The bottom of the hull is mostly buried in sand or under the sides of the ship except for the keelson which is totally exposed. The sides of the ship are lying flat on the bottom relatively intact with the knees and shelves visible on this single decked hull. There is an amazing amount of broken and twisted machinery parts in the machinery area although no visible evidence of the engine or boiler remain. It is assumed they were likely salvaged. The propeller and shaft are extant on site.
