Site Description – The wreck is totally flattened except for what is left of the boiler and walking beam engine base. The boiler was apparently cut off at deck level to allow it to be decked over. Most of the bottom of the ship and parts of the sides are extant on site with the sides splayed out and partially covering the bottom. There is a major portion of the deck in two large sections one on the lake bottom, the other laying on top of the aft section of the hull. Visible on site is the rudder with steering quadrant, base of the engine. the bottom half of the boiler, what appears to be the sidewheel shaft bearing supports–one on each side of the ship bottom.
